Industrial signal lights clearly show system statuses and will continue to be indispensable aids in everyday laboratory work. The variety of other types of signals that are now available no longer have much in common with standard signal lights, however. They can send many different types of information to the user and their functions and quality are perfectly adapted to the demanding operation of laboratories.
